VISUAL WORLDS
I develop and produce most of the visual side of my music myself. That includes concepts, shooting, green screen, editing, compositing, 3D work and the design of each visual world.
My early ThruHell music videos were created entirely without generative AI. Many scenes were built and animated by hand in 3D. A single music video could take as long as six months to complete.
Today I use AI as an additional tool within my visual production. It helps me create backgrounds for social-media clips, place real footage in other worlds or reshape lighting through relighting. My own footage, performances and ideas remain the starting point.
Depending on the scope, work that once took many months can now sometimes be completed within a week. Planning, clothing, shooting, green-screen footage, editing and combining every element are still part of the process. AI does not replace that work; it expands what I can achieve without a large team or a major production budget.
For my music, there is a clear boundary: I write my own lyrics. They come from my thoughts, experiences and feelings. Melodies, chords and musical ideas also come from me – from my mind, my hands and my own creative process.
I do not use AI music generators to write or compose my songs. I am not opposed to new technology, but it has to serve the work rather than replace what forms the core of my music.
